Zobaphi obtained her BA in Social Work in 1996 from the University of Zululand. And has since practised
in various sectors and capacities as a professional in this field. Her
work history boasts more than 16 years of experience in Social Work.

the employ of KwaMashu Child Welfare (1996-1999), her experience
includes working with children in need of care and families and
communities.

She was then employed as Chief Social Worker by the
Department of Correctional Services (August 1999-February 2006) she was
involved in the whole rehabilitation programme of offenders whilst in
the Correctional Centre. She facilitating life skills, HIV/AIDS,
substance abuse, aggressive offender programmes

She further obtained her postgraduate degree, Hons BA (SS) in Psychology in 2004 from the University of South Africa (UNISA)

She
was employed at SAPS (Employee Assistance Services) (March 2006 -May
2008) to render psychosocial services to personnel. Facilitate capacity
building workshops like stress and depression management, HIV/AIDS,

the employee of Transnet Port Terminals (Cape Town) as a Employee
Assistance Practitioner (EAP)(June 2008-July 2009) Managing the
Employee Wellness Programme in the Human Resources Department
responsible for Employee Assistance Programmes ,Health and Wellness
Programmes for employees, Incapacity Management, Sick Absenteeism
management

Under the employee of Metrorail (Cape Town) (August
2009 to April 2011) managing Employee Wellness programmes and organizing
wellness months, Health and Wellness events like STI & TB
campaigns, World AIDS, VCT campaigns. Capacity building workshops,
Trauma debriefing sessions, Counselling and referrals, Managing Service
providers. Member of HR Management team that sits in the evaluation
Committee in cases of Incapacity/disability management cases, Management
of sick absenteeism in the workplace. Support service to Departmental
heads and Line managers

She has experience in Human Resources as
well as running her own private practice. For a period of time she also
worked as affiliate for different Employee Wellness Companies
